Holt McCallany, widely recognized for his role in Mindhunter, has officially joined the ensemble of the Disney+ series Percy Jackson and the Olympians, according to industry reports.
In the upcoming third season, McCallany will portray the primary antagonist, the legendary Greek titan Atlas. According to ancient lore, Atlas was condemned to bear the weight of the heavens on his shoulders as eternal punishment.
The third installment will adapt Rick Riordan’s novel The Titan’s Curse. The series made its successful debut on Disney+ in 2023, with the second season scheduled to premiere in December 2025.
