According to the official patch notes, the update also adds full Polish language support and resolves several technical glitches. One specific fix addresses a bug where player ratings were displayed incorrectly when joining online rooms. Curiously, the notes also mention a fix related to Kamek—a character who isn’t actually playable yet. While fans might hope this hints at upcoming DLC, it is likely just a clerical error from Nintendo’s side.

As per the Nintendo tradition, the update includes the standard “various issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience” catch-all. It’s reassuring to see the developer actively polished the title’s stability as it matures.

Nintendo clearly intends for Mario Kart World to mirror the longevity of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, aiming to make it a staple for Switch 2 owners for years to come. With these consistent quality-of-life updates, the prospect of future content expansions feels more likely than ever.
