Disney has set release dates for several new projects. Thus, “Lilo & Stitch 2” — a live-action film about the friendship between a girl and an alien monster — will be released worldwide on May 28, 2028. Details of the film are currently being kept secret.
The fate of the “Incredibles” triquel — an animated film about a family with superpowers — has also become known; its release is also scheduled for June 16, 2028.
Apparently, the studio bosses decided to take a risk and release two films in a row to collect the largest possible amount at the box office.
It is worth noting that the “Lilo & Stitch” remake was released worldwide in 2025 and became a real box office hit, grossing more than a billion.
