“Didn’t he mean just another Warhorse Studios’ game? But of course, it would be amazing if he meant something related to [Kingdom Come: Deliverance],” reads the top comment on Reddit. Fans have floated multiple possibilities, from continuing Henry’s story to exploring a Viking-themed setting.

In its October financial report, Warhorse revealed development work on new titles began in January of this year, shortly before the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Given the studio has so far focused on these two historical RPGs, it makes sense they’d expand their portfolio while building on that success.

Warhorse has repeatedly emphasized it intends to remain in the RPG space. Even if the next project takes several years to complete, that would give the team time to fully capitalise on Deliverance 2 before moving on.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2’s standout side quest turned the game into a medieval LA Noire — now I wish Henry could keep investigating crimes.
