Greetings everyone,
With a major holiday weekend approaching here in Korea, I am sharing this week’s update and development video a bit earlier than planned before I head home to spend some quality time with my family.
If you examine this week’s footage closely, you will see that many of the refinements we proposed at the start of the year have now been successfully integrated into inZOI. While the project still has areas that require polishing, I am confident that our unwavering commitment throughout 2026 will transform the game into an exceptional experience.
We have recently been focused on creating an in-game GUI to make utilizing cheats more accessible. We initially hesitated to implement this, as cheats can inherently compromise game stability and potentially trigger unforeseen bugs. Given that inZOI is still in active development, we were concerned about adding further complexity. However, your feedback has made it clear that there is a significant demand for these features. Consequently, we are now prioritizing this system, and the next update will introduce several new cheat options.
Regarding our support for the modding community, we have expanded our team to accelerate the progress of script modding. The primary technical challenge lies in bridging our extensive range of internal systems through Lua scripts. This process is proving to be more labor-intensive and costly than we first anticipated, yet I want to reassure you that robust modding support remains one of our core objectives for the year.
I hope you all have a wonderful break, and I look forward to bringing you more news next week. In the meantime, please enjoy the latest development video from the inZOI team.
Thank you for your continued support.
