Previously, Kojima revealed he personally inserted the developer-themed Easter eggs in Death Stranding 2, joking that if he asked team members to add them they’d pretend not to hear. He conceded some of these references “might cause certain people to cringe hard,” yet he embraces a playful, “I am cringe, but I am free” attitude — which, for many, makes the experience more entertaining.
