In a surprise year-end gift, Harry Styles has unveiled his first new music-related content in over two years. On Saturday (Dec. 27), the global pop icon released the official music video for “Forever, Forever”—a poignant instrumental piano composition that he famously debuted during his final Love On Tour performance in Reggio Emilia, Italy, on July 22, 2023.

The visual serves as a nostalgic tribute to the dedicated community Styles fostered throughout his massive two-year trek. It opens with several minutes of artistic, fly-on-the-wall footage of fans gathered outside the RCF Arena. This final stop marked the conclusion of a historic tour that grossed $617 million and saw over 5 million tickets sold globally.

The video captures the intimate rituals of the fanbase: friends braiding hair, fans celebrating their front-row access, and groups engaging in synchronized choreography. Amidst the joy, there is a palpable sense of bittersweet finality. “There is some sadness because it is the last show,” one fan reflects on camera, “and then he will disappear.”

The footage also documents the lighthearted anticipation of the crowd as they debate Styles’ wardrobe choices, weighing the likelihood of “elegant” tailoring versus his signature dungarees. One fan humorously suggests he should skip the shirt entirely.

As the concert begins, the energy shifts to pure euphoria. The video highlights the moment a grand piano is wheeled onto the stage—the vessel for “Forever, Forever.” Styles tells the capacity crowd that he composed the piece specifically for them, offering it as a unique, never-before-heard encore. The visual journey concludes with a stark, heartfelt message on the screen: “WE BELONG TOGETHER.”

During that emotional night in Italy, Styles delivered a powerful speech that resonated far beyond the stadium walls. “I don’t get to do this if you guys don’t come,” he told the audience. “The atmosphere that you have created, the family that you have created, this safe space that you have created… I want to thank you for everything.”

He continued by encouraging his fans to maintain the kindness they displayed on tour: “It does not end when this tour ends. I want you to continue it. Put love out into the world. It needs it a bit right now.”

Prior to this release, Styles’ last visual output was the Spring 2023 video for “Satellite,” the fourth single from his chart-topping 2022 album, Harry’s House. That album spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and solidified his status as a premier solo artist.
