Halo 5: Guardians goes 4K, they mentioned, a month later.
Halo didn’t make an look in Santa Monica final month, which left us all fairly puzzled since 343 Industries had mentioned it might have “a little something” for Halo fans at E3 2017.
Turns out the “little something” might have been phrase that Halo 5 will probably be getting a beautiful massive replace when the Xbox One X launches in November, tuning up its visuals to the usual set by the brand new hardware.
“The team here at 343 always had a desire to bring players the best Halo 5 experience for Xbox One X, but we weren’t quite ready to make the announcement during the E3 time frame,” the studio mentioned on Halo Waypoint.
“We are excited to officially confirm that Halo 5 will receive a game update to support true 4K with the release of Xbox One X later this year.”
343 promised to ship extra particulars on how Halo 5 will probably be polished up quickly.
Although the workforce didn’t say particularly that this was the information it anticipated to share at E3 2017, given the overall lack of different Halo information within the interim we’re betting that is what was supposed to return out. Why did Microsoft and 343 Industries sit on it? Possibly as a result of it didn’t have footage to point out within the Xbox One X 4K dick waving trailer.
There’s a full record of video games getting Xbox One X help via that hyperlink, by the way in which. Well, full minus Halo 5, clearly.
