Developers have shared the first details of the next update for GTA Online, set to release at the end of this month. The DLC title is still unknown.
Upholding the Law
Despite Rockstar’s abandonment of the Cops and Crooks expansion, its concept continues to be partially implemented in the game. In a modified form with reworked details, the police theme is evolving. A new business entity, similar to what we did for Maude in both GTA 5 and Online, will be focused on capturing criminals. Additionally, we will see the continuance of Officer Vincent’s story, who will need help in maintaining order in the city.
Updated Job Creator
Car enthusiasts, tired of the available drag and drift races, will be pleased to know that they will soon be able to create their own. Numerous settings are promised: the ability to place various cars at specific spots, donut-making cars, hopping lowriders, and new crowd animations. Created races can be tested from any checkpoint.
Other Updates
- The time limit in selling missions will be increased to make the task simpler for solo bikers and arms dealers.
- Snacks will be automatically replenished before missions (not all, but most of them).
- Protection and armor for the Sparrow and Bombushka will be improved.
- Higher payouts for taxi work, open-wheel races, ULP missions, and other storyline missions.
- Other changes and additions, including those requested by the players. We hope our suggestions won’t be overlooked.
- As usual, GTA Online will celebrate the U.S. Independence Day with a themed week starting on July 4th.
- One of the new cars, the Överflöd Pipistrello (previously teased earlier), will be given for free to all GTA+ subscribers on the DLC release day. For others, it will be available for purchase seven days later.
