Global Tower of Fantasy to Get Warp Server Without Gacha and “Peaceful” Classes — Update 5.5 Arrives Late November
The developers tested the new system on the Chinese server and are now prepared to introduce it to players around the globe.
Hotta Studio has announced the upcoming launch of the Warp server — a distinctive Tower of Fantasy mode that entirely removes gacha mechanics. The new server will go live on November 25 alongside the release of version 5.5, offering a radically different model for character progression and growth.
The Warp server’s central feature is that every weapon can be earned by completing missions and filling the gallery. The weapon and matrix ascension systems have been removed, which should considerably streamline progression. In their place, new customization options will arrive: players will be able to gather shards and combine them into simulacra looks and outfits.
Additionally, the server will include an open marketplace where users can freely trade simulacra fragments and skins. A new seasonal system without equipment ascension will be introduced, along with an updated base that supports resource trading and cooperative activities.
Among other additions are six new classes — including Explorer, Cook, and Blacksmith — suited to players who prefer to relax and savor life in the virtual world.
The developers say they will share more details as the official launch approaches.
