Miliastra Wonderland provides a robust, no-code creation suite: terrain and asset placement, adjustable parameters, enemy spawners, and visual logic trees reminiscent of Unreal Engine behavior trees. HoYoverse says “hundreds” of user stages will be available at launch, covering simulation/management experiences, party mini-games, PvP arenas, adventure challenges and more.
User-created stages will rotate through a featured system, and well-rated or popular creations will earn additional rewards for their authors. The mode includes a “Creator Earnings System” whose specifics remain partly unclear; a larger earnings expansion is planned for Luna IV (update 6.3). As players raise their Craftsperson rank, more building tools and options become available.

Players will explore Wonderland using the Manekin — a new customizable avatar whose outfits are unlocked or crafted through Wonderland activities and rank progression. The Manekin can be used outside the Wonderland mode (with the exception of Spiral Abyss, Imaginarium Theater, and Stygian Onslaught) and inherits elemental traits from your Traveler’s current setup. Still, the feature’s biggest appeal appears to be the wardrobe and customization options.
Wonderland introduces its own cosmetic banner and a dedicated paid battle pass. Purchasing the standard battle pass will also grant access to the Wonderland pass at no extra cost, so players won’t need to buy two separate passes for the same season — a point reiterated during the English reveal stream.
Rather than using Primogems, Wonderland’s cosmetic draws use a new currency called Geodes of Replication. These appear to be earned via weekly challenges, rank milestones, events, and the battle pass. Some outfits will be limited-time offerings (reruns have not been confirmed), while others can be crafted from gathered materials once you unlock the appropriate blueprints. Players can mix-and-match individual pieces or equip complete prebuilt sets.
Traditionally, Genshin has offered relatively few premium character skins, but Wonderland is packed with cosmetics for the Manekin. Many unlocked or purchased items will be shareable with friends, and some outfits will be available as temporary rental vouchers. It remains unclear whether playing Wonderland will reward non-Wonderland currencies or progression items — such as Primogems or character ascension materials.
Miliastra Wonderland arrives as user-generated platforms like Roblox — and builder-driven titles such as Fortnite and Minecraft — continue to capture massive audiences, often skewing younger. Roblox reportedly outdraws Steam on many active days, so it’s unsurprising that HoYoverse is testing a similar formula in its flagship title.
HoYoverse likely hopes Wonderland will both bring new players into Genshin’s loop and hold players’ attention independently by offering repeatable, community-created content — content the studio doesn’t have to produce directly once the editor tools are distributed. It will be telling to see how different player groups respond to the UGC mode.
Genshin Impact is handing out free 5-star Constellations for the first time in five years — but the usual FOMO remains.
