Winter has officially descended upon EFT: Arena.
Following the recent seasonal overhaul in the core Escape from Tarkov experience, Battlestate Games has deployed a major thematic update for its competitive counterpart, EFT: Arena.
Patch 0.4.2.0 expands the “Last Hero” game mode with several new combat zones, featuring redesigned iconic locations from the original EFT:
- The Smuggler’s Camp on Shoreline;
- The Dormitories on Customs;
- The EMERCON Medical Base on Woods.
The developers have also broadened the EFT: Arena Battle Pass, introducing 20 additional prestige levels beyond the initial 100-tier cap.
A new point of interest has been added to the Customs tactical map, offering fresh rewards. To unlock these, players must collect a new seasonal currency: “New Year’s Bauble” event tokens.
Note that standard Tactical Map tokens are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for these limited-time Event tokens.
Additionally, a series of 11 unique in-game missions has been introduced. Completing these tasks rewards players with Battle Pass currency, loot, experience points, and the exclusive “Splinter Winter” camouflage skin.
The winter festivities in Escape from Tarkov: Arena are set to continue until February 3, 2026.
