Elden Ring Nightreign debuted today, and within less than a day, it has already captivated 2 million players. Although it’s crafted as a three-player cooperative roguelite experience, Nightreign can also be tackled solo… but the challenge is formidable. Thankfully, From Software is attentive to player feedback and plans to release an update next week to ease the solo journey.
The studio shared news of this update on the official Elden Ring X account, indicating that Patch 1.02 will arrive next week, bringing a host of bug fixes and enhancements for solo play. Notably, From Software announced the feature “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat,” permitting a revival once during each night boss battle, will be incorporated into solo expeditions, along with an increase in the number of runes earned.
This adjustment should alleviate challenges for solo players, as increased rune earnings will facilitate quicker leveling. The ability to revive once in each night boss encounter will provide a more equitable chance in Nightreign’s diverse battles. From Software promises to share more details about Patch 1.02 in the coming week.
