The announcement trailer also showcased two distinctive Pikachu variants: Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu. Their fashionable appearance has drawn comparisons to the aesthetic of Pokémon Concierge. Official details regarding their role are currently limited, with the official Pokémon website noting that fans will have to wait to discover how they factor into the new adventure.

Given the series’ penchant for version exclusives, it is highly probable that Mr. Windychu will appear in Pokémon Winds while Ms. Wavychu is exclusive to Pokémon Waves. However, this remains speculative until officially confirmed.

The Expanding Pokémon Winds and Waves Pokédex

At this stage, the starter trio along with Mr. Windychu and Ms. Wavychu represent the only confirmed additions to the Generation 10 Pokédex. Pokémon Winds and Waves are slated for an exclusive release on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. Stay tuned for further updates as we move closer to the launch date.
