CD Projekt Red Reveals Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 Patch Notes With New Edgerunners 2 Quest, Dual-Wielding and Mod Support
CD Projekt RED has published the patch notes for update 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077 and released the update on October 22. The update includes technical improvements, additional content, and new gameplay options.
Players can take on a new side quest, Clampdown, which serves as an introduction to the events of the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2:
To unlock it, complete The Heist, finish two gigs for Wakako, and then wait for a message from her.
The update also adds a five-piece gear set styled after Wick Kingsley, nicknamed King, one of the main characters of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Players can get the items during the Clampdown side quest.
A new radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM, will also be available. It plays music from the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Edgerunners 2.
The developers said players can use DLSS 4.5, and that V can now change the look of arm cyberware:
Equip Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowire, or the Projectile Launch System and head to one of the five Glamdocs, which are marked on the map with a spray paint can icon. Each Glamdoc works out of their own establishment and offers a unique catalog of looks for cyberware. On your first visit, a short intro scene plays, after which you can choose the customization option you like.
Changes and new features in update 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077:
- Night City Fashion Week: some vendors already offer 5 new clothing sets.
- A new perk, Double Trouble, in the Cool skill tree, along with several additional perks, enables a new playstyle with a standard pistol or revolver in each hand.
- The NUS Infiltrator gear set can now be purchased from clothing vendors in Kabuki and Japantown.
- Photo Mode gets new poses that show off dual-wielding.
- Cross-platform mod support based on mod.io is coming to PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S.
- Welcome to Paradise! A new side quest lets players uncover another Night City mystery and take a tour of the city with Richard Night as a virtual guide. To unlock it, players must first complete The Heist and raise their Street Cred to level 15.
- 12 new Minor Arcana tarot cards now appear on the streets of Night City. Major and Minor Arcana now sit in separate categories in the tarot section. Players can search for the new cards as part of a new quest that continues Fool on the Hill. To start it, scan any of the new cards.
- Saves for each new game started are now separated and grouped in the Load Game menu.
- Fixed an issue on Nintendo Switch 2 that could cause a “Save failed: insufficient space” message.
- Fixed an issue where the game ignored changes to HDR settings on PlayStation 5.

Update 2.5 for Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC. The full description of the update is available in the official patch notes.
