Reuniting every Dragon Age hero would be more complicated than simply opening a portal — depending on player choices the Hero of Ferelden or Hawke might no longer be alive by the time Dragon Age: The Veilguard arrives — but Regan is open to imaginative solutions.
“Maybe something wild and unexpected, like they all step out of the Fade and have to team up — Avengers-assemble style. That kind of thing,” she suggested.
Asked about Dorian, she laughed and admitted, “Dorian’s hot, guys. Dorian is hot.”
For now, a broader reunion feels unlikely while BioWare focuses its resources on Mass Effect 5 for the foreseeable future. That shift in priorities, combined with the mixed reception to Dragon Age: The Veilguard, makes a large-scale crossover harder to imagine right away.
Even after Electronic Arts let Dragon Age: The Veilguard exit its multiplayer limbo, reports suggested BioWare hurried to appeal to the widest possible audience — a strategy that can run counter to the depth fans expect from great RPGs.
