Dolly Parton, Mark Ronson, Ozzy Osbourne, and More: Must-Read Music Books Arriving This Fall

As autumn sets in and leaves transform into a tapestry of reds and golds, revered artists from diverse musical realms are poised to release compelling memoirs this season.

September brings the long-awaited memoir from multi-Grammy-winning producer Mark Ronson. Reflecting on the moment he held the physical copy for the first time, Ronson shared on Instagram: “Holding the printed version—typeset pages, tangible words—was profoundly moving. After countless hours of writing, editing and self-doubt, to finally flip through its pages is both surreal and exhilarating.”

October sees the posthumous release of Ozzy Osbourne’s candid memoir, delving into his storied career, personal triumphs and trials mere months after his passing. That same month, legacy singer-songwriter Yusuf/Cat Stevens debuts Cat On The Road To Findout: The Official Autobiography, chronicling his journey from London schoolboy to Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, while trailblazing rapper Gucci Mane offers an unvarnished second memoir examining life beyond the headlines.

November ushers in two country chronicles: stadium-filling star Kenny Chesney invites readers into his world of chart-topping hits and laid-back island escapades, while icon Dolly Parton presents the deluxe third installment of her photo memoir trilogy.

Chesney revealed his project on CBS Mornings this past February, admitting, “I’ve lived countless stories but rarely spoken about myself. Now feels like the right time to share them.”
