Sarzyński further clarified that including a third-person option isn’t just a creative choice—it’s a massive logistical hurdle. He noted that such a shift in narrative and scene design would increase the scope of work by an estimated 75%, concluding that it is simply “not feasible” for the production.

As is often the case with major PC releases, players may find their own solutions. A community-led third-person mod for Cyberpunk 2077 has been in the works since early 2021, launching less than a month after the original game’s debut. Given the dedication of the modding community, it’s likely that any future sequel will eventually see similar unofficial modifications shortly after it hits shelves.
