Description: Post-apocalypse, weapons on cars and spectacular fights – it reminds me of Mad Max, but this is Crossout. The game is an MMO action game with crafting and combat. Yes, you personally get the opportunity to assemble your car, install weapons on it and go into battle against bots or real players.
Crossout is the creation of your own combat vehicle, the selection of guns and memorable battles. A great option for fans of the genre, as well as those who want to upgrade their tactics or faction!
Reviews
I’ve reached a point where in order to hire a workbench to create better parts i will have to sell my limited crafting material, this has made the game an incredibly slow grind if you dont want to put money into it but it is a fun game. i doubt i will ever play this long enough to craft a legendary possibly even an epic item but im having fun. ideally this game would be a lot more reasonable to progress if you put a good amount of money into it.
A neat game I played for a few weeks on my laptop. Its a lot like Robocraft or Terratech.
You build a vehicle with parts salvaged from old vehicles, van doors, airplane fuselage, etc. They have different sizes and armor values, different connection points. There’s both PVP and some PVE modes, where you team up with other players or fight AI on your own with a story.
There’s definitely some grind issues, and pay for progress. They try to balance the game by having all the parts = a point total, but you can just get a higher tier chassis that supports more weapons and go light on armor to obliterate low level players.
It’s fun and a bit addicting for a bit, try it out. There is a launcher for it so the download size is deceptive. It auto opens on windows bootup so uhhh, disable that.
Similar to many other car combat games, but with a twist. this one allows you to completely build your vehicles from the ground up instead of simply picking from a couple of options. There is just something satisfying about getting kills in a vehicle you built yourself that you can’t get from a lot of similar games
Pretty comfortable robocraft-like f2p with obvious mad max influence. I enjoy it quite casually, but my recommendation comes with the understanding that I can only enjoy it casually. If you want a game to really dig into, consider this a negative review for you.
The pve runs on a mobile game energy system. Despite this, it’s the most enjoyable part of the game.
The pvp matchmakes based on easily exploitable gear score brackets. You’ll be fighting minmaxers.
Any gear that is of the orange rarity or higher doesn’t exist without paying.
So why play? Because building cars is fun, driving is comfortable, and the combat is nice. In short bursts, it works; and heck, it’s free.
This game is one of the few pvp games i like. I really wish more of my friends would play this game but the amount of grinding you have to to for just about anything in this game is insane and the ease at which you can get those same things by paying is very discouraging. I’m half fine with that but it makes it hard to get any interest form anyone else. I us’t to play this game on console originally but got fed up with the atrocious matchmaking when i lost 12 games in a row then asked the chat why people were able to get into low power rank games decked out in the strongest items in the game and they said “its called seal clubbing, welcome to crossout” after i had been playing for months so i uninstalled the game. When i switched to PC i couldn’t transfer any of my progress but the matchmaking problem was mostly fixed. It is a fun game if you can be patient with it but i really wish the developers would ease off the pay to win aspects of it in at least the events or something because their’s not much a person who can’t drop tons of money into the game they like can do to progress.
