Not all players were satisfied with the physics, and many also raised concerns about optimization.
In November, the team behind “Off‑Road Commanders” released a public demo on VK Play, giving players the chance to try an early build of the game.
Some initial figures have emerged. Over 4.5 days nearly 18,000 players took part in the test. Altogether they spent more than 25,000 hours in the game. The developers also noted the title was added to wishlists about 2,500 times.
The audience broke down roughly as 94% male and 6% female.
Players criticized what they called “dumb bots,” complained about optimization and the physics, and urged the addition of a minimap because they couldn’t tell where to go. The developers responded that they have “taken note” of the issues raised.
At the same time, some users praised the local physics system. They also complimented the “powerful graphics,” “enjoyable tracks,” and the finely detailed domestic vehicles.
