Hello Mayors,
We’re rolling out bicycles — plus a number of traffic and pedestrian adjustments. After the previous update we observed increased pedestrian congestion in many cities, so this patch includes several balancing changes intended to ease pedestrian load and improve movement flows.
If you missed yesterday’s Developer Diary about bikes, you can read it here.
We also partnered with Timeister for a concise video overview of what this patch introduces:

Base Game Changes
Gameplay Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed several crashes to desktop related to missing assets (benches, ferry terminal, specific missing asset cases) and simultaneous notification/cluster recalculations.
- Resolved a crash when taxis were disabled immediately after being dispatched.
- Fixed crash occurring after bulldozing white boxes when autosave is enabled on a particular save.
- Building leveling and resource delivery improvements:
- Resource deliveries for building upgrades are now coordinated by industrial companies, resource warehouses and external connections.
- Delivery vehicles will now carry multiple resources and can deliver to several targets on a single trip; they will also accept new requests while en route. This reduces vehicle congestion in large cities with concurrent resource demands.
- Added a leveling icon in the Info View to show which homes are awaiting upgrade resources.
- Delivery vans supplying upgrade materials will prioritize city-held resources when a surplus exists locally.
- Multiple fixes to tourism, city attractiveness and lodging behavior.
- Fixed excess shopping citizen behavior that was generating unintended traffic.
- Corrected levitating citizen issue caused by premature departure and teleporting back to origin.
- Fixed citizens becoming stuck and spinning while taking selfies at corners with uneven sidewalk widths.
- Prevented companies from buying resources from outside connections when an in-city surplus exists.
- Fixed new citizens not moving into residential signature buildings after the initial occupants left.
- Fixed signature buildings failing to attract residents or provide well-being bonuses; resolved issues with companies repeatedly going bankrupt at the Seafarer Shipyard signature building due to resource timing.
- Fixed rebuilt signature buildings remaining unoccupied and fluctuating efficiency when they ran out of resources.
- Corrected Mail Service Info View which previously showed an incorrect (low) mail processing value and prevented out-of-service post offices from receiving mail.
- Prisons: changed local crime accumulation effect from absolute to relative so prisons reduce crime more effectively within their radius.
- Fixed Central Intelligence Bureau not applying city-wide crime reduction.
- Fixed Automated Parking Building not generating revenue.
- Addressed pedestrian street pathfinding connection issues.
- Water Pumping Stations no longer repeatedly report “Water level too low” when that message was erroneous.
- Corrected incorrect air pollution readings from the Emergency Battery Station.
- Fixed a spawn-disable loop for service vehicles caused by reduced service budgets combined with otherwise high building efficiency.
