Mariah Carey makes it completely clear what her ex-lover is lacking within the smoldering video for her new NSWF break-up ballad “GTFO.” Taking a cue from the slinky track’s no-reading-between-the-lines refrain enchantment to her man to “get the fuck out,” Carey spends the complete clip alone in her lavish condo, modeling a seductive sequence of lingerie combos whereas basking in Barbra Streisand-worthy tender focus lighting.
Her solely companions within the clip are a bottomless glass of purple wine and a strategically positioned pillow, greater than sufficient to maintain her heat as she waves bye and rolls her eyes on the video’s conclusion. The sultry track dropped Thursday morning (Sept. 13), full with a delicate beat from producer Nineteen85 (Drake).
The kiss-off to an untrustworthy lover will seem on Carey’s upcoming, as-yet-untitled 15th album, due out later this 12 months, preceded by the primary official single, “With You,” which is slated for an Oct. 5 launch. “You took my love as a right/ You left me misplaced and disenchanted/ Bulldoze my coronary heart as when you deliberate it/ My prince was so unjustly good-looking,” Carey sings within the first verse over the spare, icy observe.
