Arena Breakout Infinite creators mocked Escape from Tarkov’s troubled launch — deleted the post after backlash

The launch from Battlestate Games hit some bumps.

The full 1.0 release of Escape from Tarkov arrived recently. Its rollout was far from flawless, and the hiccups drew the attention of developers from another extraction shooter.

Observers noted that the team behind Arena Breakout Infinite seemed to be taking a playful dig at their industry counterparts.

On social media they posted: “Potato servers — X. Arena Breakout Infinite — V.”

They also highlighted features they consider advantages: a compensation system for damage caused by cheating players and a refusal to include pay-to-win mechanics.

That said, Arena Breakout Infinite isn’t without flaws — some players criticized the developers. The controversial post was later removed, but it left a trace online.
