Arc System Works’ action-adventure DAMON and BABY is slated to arrive on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam) in early 2026.
The game pairs an offbeat duo with a memorable journey, combining shooter mechanics and open exploration. Players take command of Demon King Damon, upgrade him at a home base, traverse stages, and defeat enemies to clear each area. The narrative unfolds through a rhythm of base-management and field exploration phases.
Combat blends close-range pistol skirmishes with long-range fire from machine guns and various other weapon types. As you progress, more powerful gear can be discovered. Clever, tactical use of special mechanics will be vital when facing stage bosses.
Damon grows stronger over time, unlocking new skills and weapons. Players can tailor abilities to their preferred playstyle and alter the character’s appearance using different costumes.
The game supports two-player cooperative play, letting the second player control Damon’s companion — a dog that aids in combat and item collection. Cooperative mode is limited to local play only.
