It appears that a significant crackdown on cheaters is imminent.
Recently, the ARC Raiders community has been vocal about the growing issue of fair play. Some players have encountered exploiters so frequently that they have temporarily abandoned the game in favor of titles like Escape from Tarkov.
A spokesperson from Embark Studios confirmed that the developers are closely monitoring the situation and are prepared to intervene:
“We have been following the discussions regarding cheaters in ARC Raiders. Please be assured that we take this matter very seriously; we are actively listening to your feedback and taking decisive action based on it.”
Within the “coming weeks,” the developers plan to overhaul the game’s security protocols and deploy advanced detection algorithms to root out and ban offenders:
“This initiative includes an upgrade to our anti-cheat software for more precise tracking and automated bans, alongside client-side patches specifically designed to resolve ‘out-of-bounds’ exploits. Additionally, we are introducing new features for content creators to help mitigate the impact of stream-sniping.”
