Despite this success, a full-scale revival isn’t imminent. And799 clarified that their experiment is merely a demonstration of what is possible and is not yet a complete private server project. A major hurdle remains: a significant portion of player data is still processed through BioWare’s proprietary internal systems rather than standard network protocols, making an entirely offline mode a complex challenge.

Even so, the Anthem faithful are coalescing. Projects like “Cenotaph” and community hubs such as “The Fort’s Forge” are actively discussing ways to bypass the shutdown. While the road to a fully restored experience is long, these early discoveries provide a glimmer of hope that Anthem might eventually follow in the footsteps of other legendary game turnarounds, preserved by the very pilots who loved it most.

Dragon Age veterans continue to defend BioWare’s experimental shift with Anthem, noting that the studio has always prioritized evolution and change.
