All troops in Manor Lords are now visible — beta testing for the updated battlefield has begun
Players can now preview a variety of upcoming enhancements before they hit the live build.
The medieval city-building sensation, Manor Lords, has recently received a fresh experimental update, version 0.8.061.
The two most significant adjustments in this build focus on combat mechanics and unit visibility:
- All squads positioned within an active battlefield are now permanently visible.
- Following the start of an engagement, the combat zone boundary—the area determining which units are considered participants—will gradually contract.
Beyond these changes, 0.8.061 addresses several gameplay bugs, fixes a loading-related crash, introduces balance tweaks, refines the user interface, and adds further performance optimizations.
The comprehensive patch notes for the current Manor Lords test build can be found at this link.
