We sincerely appreciate all your feedback here on Steam and on https://houseflipper2.canny.io/. Many of your suggestions have been incorporated into this update, and we’re delighted to collaborate with our community on enriching House Flipper 2 with fresh content.
- A fresh job: “Arranging My New Garden” in Old Pinnacove, accessible after concluding “New Walls, New Me”.
- A novel house: “The Alligator Bar” in Old Pinnacove, unlocked upon job completion.
- A gallery showcasing saved Before & After snapshots! Revisit your renovation successes (or mishaps) anytime.
- Lawn mowing! Accessible via the tool menu post-job completion, or through purchasing a lawnmower from the store.
- A Sandbox mode tool to design lawn mowing quests. Setup involves mowing the lawn to achieve a Tidy status or better.
- Over 200 newly introduced items! (Refer to the details below)
- A new Visual Effects tool in Sandbox mode – for adding atmospheric effects like falling leaves 🙂
- New trash categories! Featuring eggshells and more pizza remnants
- Lockable items that remain inaccessible until a key is discovered! Configure this in Sandbox/Edit Level mode using the Edit Wiring tool. Connect the Key (available in the store) to an item, such as a door. Players must find the key to open the door in Flipper mode! Perfect for puzzles and other enigmas 😉
- A new spring-themed main menu 🙂
- Store items sorted by size
Adjustments:
- Disabling automatic Sandbox saves now also turns off autosaves when returning to the main menu. Please be cautious and save manually if needed!
- The tablet’s Quests view now displays the number of tasks remaining per room
- Houses and jobs now include mild visual effects, like falling leaves, for enhanced ambiance 🙂
- Windows can now be washed from either side.
- Window cleaning now requires attention only to visibly dirty sections
- New loading screen insights
- “Open in store” functionality added for items in the Flipper Tool/Duplicate. “Open in store” remains for Flipper Tool/Copy style dealing with surface finishes like paint and wallpaper.
- The “Just like dominoes” perk for surface finishes now displays direction lines during tiling
- Some developer codes have been deactivated. It’s for your protection – sorry!
- Various enhancements to UI and gamepad functionality.
- The entire mod.io view has been revitalized
- Added SSO login support for mod.io
Item Modifications:
- Color palettes now start with vibrant Pure tones and finish with muted Drab
- New TV channels have been added, including ones with a broken screen and NO SIGNAL
- All billiard balls can be neatly arranged within the billiard triangle
- “Building molding Jungfrau” items now enjoy new designations for clarity between styles. Welcome the Arch, Cube, Prism, and others!
- Path rocks and slabs now sink seamlessly into the soil
Over 200 Additions! Including:
- 4 new varieties of wallpapers and furniture
- 4 innovative surface finishes
- 2m and 4m ladders
- Doorbells – ring ring!
- 4 new garden fences
- Swing chairs and a hammock to unwind in the garden
- Garden embellishments and accessories – hose, birdbath, figurines, and more.
- Garden pathways! Design them with path rocks or slabs that embed into the ground
- Garden structures! Including decks, pavilions, arches, etc.
- A charming new bicycle
- Decorative plants such as the Ficus tree and ZZ plant
- Shrubs and trees like Lilac and Cherry Blossom in various sizes
- 38 new lamps in multiple collections, notably for Skadi, Futuro, Homefort, and Extravaganza
- Adjustable LED light strip!
- A modular sauna kit, complete with a custom door, floor panels, benches, heaters, and accessories
- Public restroom set featuring hand dryers and a urinal
- A massage table
- An assortment of spice jars and racks to add zest to the kitchen
- A bedroom set themed for Skadi/Kirsikkapuu
- 2 frameless beds
- Outdoor seating and a coffee table for Valenti/Chambord
- Living room seating and tables for Homefort/Byron
- Numerous standing custom picture frames
- Fresh posters, decorative eggs, figurines, and wall decor
- 3 arcade games
- An air hockey set
- New tools such as wrenches
- First aid and fire extinguisher kits
Co-op Additions:
- Player characters now feature profile pictures in the lobby.
- Emotes! Communicate wordlessly!
- Player nicknames now appear above avatars. No more confusion about identities.
- During parcel loading or switching, an error no longer traps players in a perpetual loading screen — they will be disconnected smoothly instead.
- Nearly all achievements function in co-op mode (just one more to implement).
Bug Fixes:
- Corrected placement problems with moldings. They’re operational now.
- [Assembly] When using a hammer, the cursor is now properly hidden.
- [Assembly] Screw progress is now visible.
