The long-awaited adaptation of the popular light novel series is set to reach audiences in just under two weeks.
A third promotional trailer for the upcoming anime The Holy Grail of Eris has been released, spotlighting the series’ main theme song: “Happy Ever After feat. YU-KA,” performed by the talented Reina Washio.
The narrative is based on the fantasy light novel series penned by Kujira Tokiwa and illustrated by Yu-Nagi. The story centers on Constance Grail, a young noblewoman whose life is irrevocably changed after she encounters the spirit of Scarlett Castiel—an executed aristocrat consumed by a desire for vengeance. Together, they set out to uncover a dark conspiracy that has remained hidden for years.
Directing duties for the project are being handled by the duo JUMPEI & MORITA, previously recognized for their work on Lost Song. Kenichi Yamamoto (MF Ghost) is overseeing both the screenplay and the musical composition, while Chie Tawaguchi is responsible for the character designs. The series is being produced by Ashi Productions, a studio with a storied legacy that includes classics such as The Legend of Zorro and Vampire Hunter D.
The Holy Grail of Eris is scheduled to premiere on January 8, 2026.
