After months of dedicated development, we are thrilled to finally share this labor of love with you. Here at Frozen District, our team has long been captivated by the beauty of Japanese culture and language. We’ve even traveled to Japan on several occasions—most recently, specifically to gather inspiration for this expansion.
We can confidently say this was a true passion project. We poured our hearts into every detail to ensure this DLC delivers a unique, immersive experience. We sincerely hope you find as much joy in playing it as we did in creating it! 💙

- Materials: Tan bricks, bamboo wood, lacquered acacia, weathered mahogany, red birch, assorted bamboo colors, 🤝 eight traditional Japanese patterns, 🤝 tatami tiles, and authentic roof tiles.
- Decor & Furnishings: 🤝 Shoji screens (doors, walls, and windows in paper or glass), 🤝 traditional tatami mats, round muntin-style windows, Japanese cuisine sets (sushi, ramen, matcha), hobby kits, 🤝 samurai décor (including mountable katanas), bonsai trees, ikebana, paper lanterns, and zen garden elements like gravel, stones, and bridges.

We are dramatically upgrading the buyer experience! Alongside this overhaul, we’ve implemented significant quality-of-life improvements, including the highly requested empty plots for Story Mode, refined roofing mechanics, new motion accessibility settings, and much more.

- 🤝 Buyers 2.0: A complete system rework featuring over 30,000 words of new feedback, sophisticated profit calculations that enable Story Mode empty plots, buyer moodboards, and deep customization based on environment, item tags, and building style.
- 🤝 Store Overhaul: Improved search algorithms, a dedicated “New Items” category, and enhanced filtering that integrates seamlessly with your searches.
- 🤝 Accessibility & Comfort: Experimental motion sickness settings, customizable crosshairs, third-person perspective mode, and default motion blur adjustments.
- 🤝 Refined Building: More precise three-click roof construction, new roof profiles (domes, East Asian styles), and improved Fly mode controls.
- 🤝 Assembly Improvements: Timers have been removed, and completing assemblies now unlocks the items in the Store with a steeper discount.
