Actress Inde Navarrette, known for her role in Obsession, is the cover star of the latest issue of Nylon magazine.
In an interview with the publication, the 25-year-old performer revealed that she recently met with Heat director Michael Mann and Thunderbolts filmmaker Jake Schreier. Mann is currently overseeing casting for the upcoming Heat sequel, while Schreier is actively developing the latest iteration of the X-Men franchise.
When asked if she would be interested in joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Navarrette responded with an enthusiastic yes. Furthermore, she highlighted Ryan Coogler (Sinners) and Greta Gerwig (Barbie) as two of the visionary directors she is most eager to work with in the future.
The independent horror sensation Obsession, directed by Chris Nash, has emerged as a breakout hit this year; produced on a modest budget of $750,000, the film has grossed over $400 million globally. Navarrette delivers a compelling performance as Nikki, a young woman whose life takes a dark turn after she becomes dangerously infatuated with her colleague, Baer (played by Michael Johnston).
