“Avengers: Doctor Doom” has grossed millions of dollars in pre-sales
Advance ticket sales for “Avengers: Doomsday” are outpacing the trajectory of “Avengers: Endgame” across Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands during the comparable pre-release window. According to ComicBookMovie, citing Box Office Theory analysts, the upcoming Marvel blockbuster is poised to debut with one of the most staggering opening weekends in global box office history.
Data from Global Box Office indicates that pre-sales in North America surpassed $65 million by October 27. Nevertheless, these figures remain unverified by independent sources, and the outlet’s forecasting accuracy has previously been called into question. While industry experts speculate that the film’s worldwide opening could cross the $1 billion threshold, this remains a bold projection rather than a definitive forecast.
Meanwhile, fresh promotional artwork has surfaced online, showcasing Doctor Doom—portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.—alongside the Sentinels, alongside newly revealed visuals of Steve Rogers, reprised by Chris Evans. The star-studded feature will also integrate beloved characters from both the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises.
The theatrical release is officially scheduled for December 18, 2026.
