It appears that fans may not have to hold out until the next decade to get their hands on the next Elder Scrolls title.
Discussion surrounding The Elder Scrolls VI has recently reignited, fueled by fresh commentary from industry insider Kiwi Talkz.
He posits that the development and eventual reception of TES VI might mirror the trajectory of the long-awaited Metroid Prime 4:
[…] Bethesda is refraining from providing even a tentative release window because, to put it bluntly, doing so would be counterproductive—especially considering how prematurely the project was originally revealed. Personally, I suspect TES VI will face a situation similar to Metroid Prime 4: it will likely achieve strong sales figures, but may struggle to win over critics and could prove polarizing among the player base.
Regarding the potential launch timeline for the next Elder Scrolls installment, the insider remarked:
Do not expect to see The Elder Scrolls VI arrive before 2028; there is a significant probability that the game will not debut until 2029.
