Treyarch says aim assist gives controller players a slight close-range advantage in Black Ops 7 and will be reworked as Raven considers similar Warzone changes

Raven confirmed it will coordinate with Treyarch — posting on X — to evaluate potential tweaks to rotational aim assist and controller aim assist strength during Season 01 of Call of Duty: Warzone. Neither studio has released technical specifics yet.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will allow players to aim down sights while sliding, diving, and wall-jumping without relying on the Dexterity perk, and it will also increase footstep volume for greater audio feedback.
