Howard admitted that while the initial sketches were promising, seeing the physical prop on set was a revelation. “This is easily the most intimidating Power Armor we’ve designed,” he remarked, adding that integrating the suit into *Fallout 76* has been an “exceptional” addition for players.
However, the digital version of the armor has sparked some debate within the community. Players can only obtain the NCR set via a $30 (£27) Mojave Bundle in *Fallout 76*, which consists primarily of cosmetics. Additionally, some fans have questioned the narrative logic of including NCR gear in a prequel, given that the Republic hadn’t actually been formed yet during that timeline.
The Fallout Season 2 showrunner has hinted that the upcoming series will mirror a major Fallout 4 plot point regarding the finale’s unexpected twist.
