Throughout the initial launch and the subsequent “Reloaded” mid-season update, players can expect a total of nine multiplayer maps. This rotation bolsters the game’s variety with five original locales and four beloved classics returning from the Black Ops archives. The full map lineup includes:

  • Torment (Brand New – Launch)
  • Sake (Brand New – Launch)
  • Nexus (Brand New – Launch)
  • Slums (Remaster – Launch)
  • Torque (Brand New – Mid-Season)
  • Mission: Peak (Brand New – Mid-Season)
  • Cliff Town (Yemen Remake – Mid-Season)
  • Grind (Remaster – Mid-Season)
  • Firing Range (Remaster – Mid-Season)

In addition to the expanded map pool, the update introduces seven fresh game modes, seven new weapons, an array of attachments, and limited-time cosmetic events. Most notably, the competitive community will finally see the debut of Ranked Play.

FPS veterans—particularly those who appreciated the mechanics of the Titanfall series—will recognize the inspiration behind the new “Lockshot” scorestreak. For a 450-score requirement, players gain access to a specialized smart pistol that eliminates the need for manual precision by auto-locking onto targets.

According to the official description, this sleek sidearm carries three rounds capable of tracking multiple adversaries simultaneously, where a single pull of the trigger can clear a room. When paired with overclock abilities that speed up target acquisition or add extra lock-on slots, the Lockshot is set to be a formidable tool on the battlefield.

The updates aren’t limited to standard multiplayer. The Endgame component introduces “Guild Strikes”—high-stakes zones featuring challenging Strike Bosses and premium loot—alongside the new “Eagle Eye” skill track, which prioritizes devastating critical hit damage.

Zombies enthusiasts are heading to the red planet, as the fourth survival map takes players into an ancient subterranean temple on Mars. The season also introduces “Cursed Survival,” which utilizes a points system inspired by Black Ops 3. Furthermore, the “Starting Room” challenge returns from Black Ops 6, testing players’ skills as they survive while confined to the initial spawn area.

Finally, Warzone is receiving a seasonal transformation as Rebirth Island is blanketed in snow. This winter overhaul includes significant terrain adjustments and a new point of interest. Competitive fans can jump back into Ranked Play: Resurgence, while new environmental hazards like “Infil Gas Explosions” and the visibility-reducing “Snowstorm Gas” will force players to rethink their survival strategies.
