
The most recent update for Starfield introduces numerous quest fixes, along with performance enhancements such as restoring the option for uncapped frame rates on Xbox Series X, among other improvements. Continue reading for the detailed update notes!

Gameplay
- The Annihilator Particle Beam’s damage-over-time effect no longer causes reactions from companions.
- Resolved an issue with the Leadership skill that sometimes prevented companions from speaking.
- Enhanced functionality of the stealth bar in the vicinity of crowd NPCs.
- Fixed an issue where destroyed ships were loaded without collision detection.
- Resolved a problem that caused players to be transported to incorrect locations when loading saves reliant on missing content.
- Trackers Alliance – Roach will now accurately count completed bounties.
- Trackers Alliance – Bounty targets are now visible in Akila, Gagarin, and Cydonia.
- Trackers Alliance – Fixed a bug that allowed players to receive extra credits by extorting and then eliminating targets.
- Trackers Alliance – Bounty targets will now exhibit a wider range of appearances.
- Trackers Alliance – Once a bounty target is eliminated and the area is exited, they will be removed.
- Trackers Alliance – Extorting or bribing a bounty target is no longer guaranteed to succeed.
Quests
- The Starjacker – Upon boarding the Junker Watchdog, the correct quest objective will now display.
- Legacy of the Fang – Resolved an issue that could prevent the key from unlocking the door after leaving the area.
- The Duel – Players can now converse with Danika post-arrest to complete the quest.
- The Scaled Citadel – Anasko’s ID Key is now designated as a quest item.
- What Remains – Fixed an issue where certain creations could render the hatch on The Oracle non-interactive.
- What Remains – The Engineering Bay Access Card is now designated as a quest item.
- A House Divided – During this quest, doors in the Radiology center will remain unlocked when leaving and re-entering the area.
- A House Divided – The keycard can now be obtained from Madri post-quest completion.
- Zealous Overreach – Corrected an issue where Va’ruun Zealots at Shadow Station Epsilon’s exterior could be killed before the quest initiation.
- Zealous Overreach – Resolved an issue that hindered players from speaking to Razma or Viktor if the quest “Conflict in Conviction” commenced simultaneously.
- Zealous Overreach – Vortex Phantoms will no longer appear close enough to disrupt the negotiation scene.
