The official launch schedule and pricing for Anbernic’s latest vertical handheld, the RG 477V, have finally been revealed, giving enthusiasts a clear timeline for the upcoming release.
According to reports from Retro Handhelds, pre-orders for the glass-fronted Anbernic RG 477V are scheduled to commence on December 20 at 1:00 PM MSK (10:00 AM UTC).
During the initial 72-hour “Early Bird” window, the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model will be priced at $199, while the premium 12GB RAM and 256GB storage edition will retail for $239.99. Once this promotional period ends, standard pricing will shift to $219 and $259, respectively.
Under the hood, the RG 477V is powered by a high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset and Mali-G615 MC6 graphics. Running on Android 14, the device features a 4.7-inch LTPS display with a 1280×960 resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate, all supported by a substantial 5500 mAh battery.
