Earlier today, new details were revealed for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The upcoming Nintendo Switch remake will offer a number of changes from the DS original, including a modern update to EXP. Share. Over the last few Pokemon generations, EXP. Share has automatically distributed experience points to all Pokemon in the party, without any need to equip the item. While the addition makes it easier to level up multiple Pokemon at the same time, some purists have lamented the fact that the option can’t be toggled on and off. The change has proven so controversial that it has even led to “EXP. Share” trending on social media!

Some fans hate that this option was altered from the original games, while others are happy to see it included. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a fairly minor change to Diamond and Pearl, but one that fans clearly feel strongly about! Are you happy about this change to the upcoming remake? Some fans think it makes the game less fun…

looks like EXP Share is trending on twitter and all i got to say is that it sucks, not because it makes the game too easy but because it takes away the need to rotate your monsters (which makes it less fun)

Come on, Pokemon, let us toggle the EXP Share! I understand some people enjoy the ease it brings, but some people want their Pokemon to EARN their levels! Some LIKE the grind! Let us choose! It once worked that way, didn’t it?

It worked well in previous games.

I was never overleveled during my run of Sword & Shield. I was either on par or underleveled through the whole game. If it wasn’t for the EXP candies, my levels would have been even lower. So, I don’t really care if the EXP Share is on at all times going forward.

Why do people complain about EXP Share lmao. Have y’all played the old pokemon games since Sword and Shield? I’ve barely been able to beat SoulSilver because leveling takes TOO LONG
