Greetings, Space Marines,
A new hotfix has been deployed across all platforms. This update addresses several critical issues — for example, the Assault Ascension perk causing friendly-fire, Daily Stratagems displaying incorrect Battlefield Conditions, and more. In addition, the planned change to the Sniper Camo Cloak activation cost (originally scheduled for update 11.0) is included in this hotfix. Read the full notes below.

Gameplay & Balancing Adjustments
Heroic Chainsword

Core stats have been rebalanced for better consistency and feel.

Perk rework: the Light → Heavy → Heavy combo now finishes with a Stomp attack.

Damage of all Heavy strikes increased by 15%.

Fixed an issue where Daily Stratagems could list fewer Battlefield Conditions than they actually applied.
Sniper — Camo Cloak activation cost
The Camo Cloak activation behavior has been revised to limit indefinite, cost-free cancels while preserving skilled play. The new rules are:

The first three consecutive activations do not incur an additional instant energy penalty beyond the ability’s normal energy consumption.

The fourth consecutive activation immediately deducts 5% energy; each additional successive activation increases the instant cost incrementally.

After you stop activating the cloak, a 10-second window begins. If you wait through this timer, the activation-cost counter resets and the sequence starts over with no extra instant penalties.
With the appropriate perk setup you can still perform 5–6 cloak cancels in succession. Cloak-canceling remains a high-skill, high-reward technique, but it can no longer be exploited to remain invisible and untouchable indefinitely.

Pack sizes for Chaos Spawns have been slightly reduced and are now aligned with Tyranid Warrior pack sizes.
General Fixes

Corrected Power Backstep damage when the Power Wave perk is selected for the Power Axe.

Improved visibility of flame-weapon VFX for allied players.

Resolved an issue preventing bots from using elevators in the Exfiltration operation.

Fixed perks that could unintentionally cause friendly-fire damage.

Addressed various PvP connectivity issues.

ESRB rating notification: A one-time pop-up will appear on the main menu informing players of an ESRB rating update.

This rating update reflects content already present in the game for several months. There are no changes to our monetization model, and no monetization changes are planned.
