Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi forged an exceptionally tight bond while working on Emerald Fennell’s upcoming adaptation of Wuthering Heights. In a recent interview, the Australian actress admitted that she frequently develops deep attachments to her on-screen partners and often finds it difficult to let go once production concludes.
In Fennell’s reimagining of the literary classic, the two actors portray the iconic star-crossed lovers, Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff.
“I felt a connection with Jacob almost instantly,” Margot shared, noting that he was a constant presence by her side throughout the shoot. She eventually found herself instinctively looking for him, feeling a sense of disorientation whenever he wasn’t within her line of sight on set.
Elordi echoed these sentiments, confirming that a mutual fascination had developed between them. Furthermore, he praised Robbie as a “world-class talent,” remarking that simply observing her craft was a truly captivating experience.
