- Verso’s Drafts: Discover a mysterious new realm filled with unique enemies and hidden secrets. This environment is located on the World Map adjacent to Lumière and becomes accessible during Act III. Note: Esquie’s Underwater ability is required to enter.
- Expanded Localization: We have added text and UI support for seven new languages: Czech, Ukrainian, Latin American Spanish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Thai, and Indonesian. This brings our total to 19 supported languages, with more on the way.
- New Cosmetics: Personalized outfits are now available for every member of the Expedition, offering more ways to customize your party’s look.
- Elite Challenges: Face off against formidable boss variations in the Endless Tower. These high-level encounters take iconic foes from the main story and rework them for maximum difficulty.
- Arsenal Growth: A collection of new Luminas and Weapons has been added to the game.
- Completionist Update: The “Old Key” quest item can now be found in the game’s final area. Previously exclusive to the Prologue, this addition allows players to collect every journal entry within a single playthrough.
Enhanced Gameplay Features
- Integrated Photo Mode: Capture your favorite moments with a suite of creative settings, accessible at any time through the pause menu.
- Lumina Loadouts: Manage your strategy efficiently with the new Lumina Sets feature, allowing you to save and swap between up to 50 distinct tactical configurations.
- Combat Flexibility: The pause menu is now accessible during active combat, including a new “Abandon Battle” option.
- UI Customization: Adjust the on-screen display with a new HUD Scale setting, ranging from 80% to 120%.
- Cutting-Edge Performance: Full support for AMD FSR 4 is now live, featuring temporal upscaling for crisp visuals and Frame Generation for enhanced fluidity on supported hardware.
- Refined Navigation: Experience an improved UI with new filtering options for both Pictos and Luminas.
- Input Mapping: Full controller button remapping is now supported.
Handheld & Portable PC Optimizations
- Verified Status: The game is now officially certified for both Steam Deck and ROG Ally.
- Enhanced Legibility: Improved font rendering and text size for better readability on smaller displays.
- Visual Polishing: Resolved several lighting and atmospheric issues, including:
- Reduced visual intensity during the Flying Manor boss encounter and related cinematics.
- Fixed overexposure in the Visages.
- Adjusted lighting in the Endless Tower to prevent areas from appearing too dark.
- Performance Fixes: Removed the 30 FPS cap on Steam Deck and restored functionality to the VSync toggle.
- Streamlined Setup: Installation wizards now support controller inputs, and the game now transitions seamlessly between handheld controls and external peripherals.
General Bug Fixes & Balancing
- World Stability: Fixed a bug where using “Battle Retry” after certain triggers could spawn the player outside the map boundaries.
- Time Tracking: Save files now accurately record total playtime, including time elapsed during Game Over screens (applicable to new save data).
- Inventory Management: Fixed an issue where inventory sorting preferences would reset after closing the menu.
- PC Game Pass Fix: Restored access to the Intel XeSS Frame Generation setting for Game Pass users.
- Input Correction: Resolved a Windows-specific issue where certain diacritic marks (like ^ or ~) became unresponsive after launching the game.
- Combat Logic: Adjusted “Breaking Death” to ensure it only affects the specific enemy that killed the character.
- Turn Order: “First Strike” encounters now correctly calculate turn priority based on the characters’ Speed stat.
- Stat Balancing:
- Corrected Boucharo’s critical hit bonus from +150% to the intended +50%.
- Removed unintended +10% damage modifiers from several Luminas, including Sweet Kill, Teamwork, and Dead Energy II.
