No More Heroes 3 test: it's very shared, there are some good and some very bad, here are the ratings in the world

After 11 years of waiting, Travis Touchdown fans can finally discover the latest adventures of the most sassy character to come from Suda51’s boundless imagination, as No More Heroes 3 is finally available on Nintendo Switch. Since its announcement in 2019, the title has often been the internet mockery, with its low-end achievement and resolution making it seem like the game stuck in the Wii U era. That’s not all. absolutely false since we reproach this No More Heroes for a completely pick-up technique. This is generally what the specialized press thinks, even if some media manage to forgive these faults thanks to other qualities. We also note that despite the 75% average obtained on Metacritic, opinions are very divided and No More Heroes 3 is far from reaching a consensus. Of the 67 reviews identified, a good big third believes that the game does not live up to expectations and that the game is literally weighed down by its outdated technique and its overall lack of finish.

The Switch struggles to display the game correctly, with a completely strawberry 3D engine, an aliasing festival and an incredibly violent clipping. But that’s not all, the artistic direction cannot save the technical wanderings, with a flagrant lack of homogeneity, especially as the whole seems both garish and in bad taste. As for the frame-rate, it is also picking up, with many falls, especially during the phases on a motorcycle. Some media like Gamespot, IGN or Jeuxvideo.com do not forgive him for this dated achievement, and their sanction has been irrevocable.

We would have thought that the game is making up for it in its gameplay, but we have to believe that Suda51 no longer really had the faith, since the game only tirelessly repeats the same structure: arenas to be cleaned and which have all been copied- glued without any reflection. Likewise, the aliens who act as bosses are singularly lacking in charisma and are also disappointing on this point. There remains then the fights which are always so pleasant, even enjoyable, but that will not be enough to make No More Heroes 3 a convincing episode. It is perhaps not a coincidence if Suda51 announced the end of the series in the process … Come on, without further ado, here are all the scores obtained:
