We’re listening closely and have addressed numerous issues in patch 5.58, now live on all platforms.
Expedition Fixes:
- Resolved a problem blocking the completion of Chronicle expedition milestones if Rendezvous objectives auto-completed.
- Fixed players not receiving the Terrain Manipulator recipe in the Titan Expedition.
- Corrected misleading mission descriptions involving storm crystals.
- Addressed rare progression blockers in the In Stellar Multitudes mission, including incorrect crafting recipes and dialogue from Polo.
- Eliminated duplicate mission markers in In Stellar Multitudes.
- Fixed rare mission blockers in A Trace of Metal and They Who Returned expeditions.
- Addressed an issue in Under a Rebel Star causing mission progression issues after escaping sentinels.
- Corrected minor text glitches occurring during settlement switches.
Gameplay & Visual Improvements:
- Players can now archive their starship or Multi-Tool, provided it’s not their last.
- Crabs are now adoptable as companions.
- Localized weather anomalies will now correctly show up in the Analysis Visor.
- Fixed holograms not interacting properly with planetary surfaces during base building.
- Solved issues causing large planetary objects to vanish shortly after appearing.
- Improved clarity and fixed minor visual issues with planetary atmospheres, water effects, and photo mode foam rendering.
- Addressed inventory display errors and made backpack visuals consistent.
Exocraft & Nautilon Enhancements:
- Fixed Quick Menu accessibility issues while in Exocraft.
- Resolved bugs restricting terrain manipulator functions within Exocraft.
- Improved Nautilon buoyancy, handling, and visual effects on water surfaces.
- Fixed issues with Minotaur AI settings not saving and sinking into geobays.
Technical Optimizations:
- Significant memory optimizations implemented across all platforms.
- Improved graphical stability in PC VR, specifically addressing GTAO quality and flickering water effects.
- Resolved specific performance and visual glitches on Xbox, PlayStation, and Mac platforms.
- Improved mod data indexing, simplifying mod merging for creators.
