No Man’s Sky Echoes Update – version 4.44

We appreciate all of you playing the No Man’s Sky Echoes update and giving feedback through Zendesk and console crash reports.

Based on your input, we’ve fixed numerous issues in the latest patch 4.44 now available on all platforms.

Bug Fixes

  • Shield generators added to Sentinel capital ships; these need to be destroyed before damaging the hull.
  • Visual effects for Sentinel capital ship weapons have been enhanced.
  • Resolved multiplayer syncing issues related to Sentinel capital ships.
  • Addressed the warp-out effect glitch on the Pirate Dreadnought.
  • Introduced new warp effects for pirate freighters.
  • Solved minor collision problems on the pirate freighter.
  • Corrected low priority mission display on the galaxy map.
  • Pirate titles unlock issue has been fixed.
  • Resolved the malfunction of organic frigate quests in multiplayer.
  • Salvaging the Atlantid Multitool now rewards with Void Motes.
  • Barrel rolling during warp issue has been fixed.
  • Addressed untranslated pirate names in desolate systems.
  • Fixed a specific scenario where Vy’keen pirates behaved like Gek.
  • Resolved Autophage mission bugs related to repairing lost heads.
  • Solved a loading issue where floating drone heads replaced Korvax entities in freighters.
  • Fixed the Voyager’s Expedition milestone progress related to finding a creature with corrosive blood.
  • Alerts now pop up when crafting with ingredients in an inaccessible inventory.
  • Addressed several other game-related issues, including those related to multitool use, mesh rendering, loading missions, Xbox save loadings, HUD, procedural textures, player bases, shop interface, aerial scan camera, memory management, and an Xbox-specific hang.
