Players will navigate procedurally generated tracks featuring a diverse roster of 15 vehicle models.
The developers of Carmageddon: Rogue Shift have debuted a fresh trailer, accompanied by newly revealed details regarding the project’s scope.
The game is set on a dystopian Earth in an alternate 2050, where humanity teeters on the brink of extinction. Ravaged by global warfare and environmental catastrophes, the world is now overrun by undead hordes that outnumber survivors by a staggering ratio of 10,000 to 1.
These “zombies” were created by a catastrophic side effect of a nutritional supplement intended to solve global famine. The corporation behind the product knowingly concealed the lethal consequences of long-term consumption.
Carmageddon: Rogue Shift is scheduled for release on February 6, 2026, for PC and PlayStation 5, with an expected retail price of $40.
The title incorporates roguelike mechanics: if a vehicle is destroyed, the carnage continues as a new driver steps in to take the wheel, forcing the player to begin their trial once more.
