New Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Wallhack Killstreak Leaves Fans Reeling as Former Two‑Time Champion Cleans House: “This Game Is Cooked”

Two-time Call of Duty world champion Simp was among the event players and tore through matches using the new killstreak, dubbed The Gravemaker. That streak grants a sniper rifle capable of penetrating walls and supplies a scope that highlights enemies through terrain — effectively a built-in wallhack. It’s reminiscent of the FarSight XR-20 from Perfect Dark for longtime fans.

Not everyone was pleased. Creators such as Bigfry and TimTheTatman reacted to the footage on Twitter and live streams — Tim yelled “what the fuck is that” on stream, while Bigfry dismissed the footage with, “This game is cooked.”

Though a skilled pro player like Simp will look dominant with most strong tools, PC Gamer notes that killstreaks are, by design, meant to tip the scales in favor of whoever earns them. Yes, the wall-penetrating sniper feels extreme, but it’s arguable whether it’s intrinsically more unbalanced than classic streaks like an AC-130 or an attack chopper — those too let you rain down on enemies from relative safety. With The Gravemaker, you remain a boots-on-the-ground combatant and (presumably) lose the streak if you die, which mitigates some of the controversy.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s new Endgame mode is described as “the final proving ground” — a challenge so demanding it may require coordinated assistance from other co-op teams.
