Mow down bosses with a boomstick on this Dark Souls 3 mod

What was your final construct in Dark Souls 3? I’m keen on axes myself, although I’ve had plenty of success in transferring to whopping big greatswords as of late. For my subsequent run, although, I believe I’m gonna strive one thing new – blapping my manner via Lothric with a sawn-off, filling each undead goon on the partitions with buckshot because of this ridiculous new mod created by Asasasasasbc.

As the unkindled of us at RPS fanzine PC Gamer found, Modern Firearm just about does what it says on the quilt – including an arsenal of assault rifles, SMGs, shotguns and sniper rifles to From Software’s grimdark hack ‘n’ slash threequel.

The mod replaces your normal crossbows and various ranged weapons with extra modern counterparts. The heavy crossbow turns into an AK-47, the sniper crossbow turns into a sniper rifle, and so forth. When held with each arms, all weapons bar the sniper will hearth in full-auto. Conversely, holding them one-handed will hearth single pictures – extra correct, extra damaging, however with the next stamina value.

While Dark Souls Three might change into considerably trivial whereas toting an assault rifle, it’s a curious peek at some unseen different game. It’s simple to think about a game absolutely leaning into this type of heavy, stumbling shoot ’em up. Picture heavy knights greedy unwieldy firearms in, say, a Soulsey return to From Software’s huge mech games. One can dream, can’t they?

If you’re searching for extra methods to fully remix Dark Souls 3 – or any of the opposite Souls games, for that matter – how’s about testing Dominic Tarason’s information to modding the shit out of the Dark Souls trilogy? Just be sure to’ve minimize your connection to Bandai Namco HQ first – they’re awfully finicky about individuals breaking their games.
