Metal Gear Solid 4 Finally Leaves PS3 Exclusivity in Konami’s Master Collection Vol. 2 Along with Peace Walker and Ghost Babel

  • The collection also includes Peace Walker, which appears to be based on the refined HD version originally released for the PS3. Fans will be glad to know that the original cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes have been preserved. Curiously, Portable Ops—the series’ other notable PSP outing—is absent from the announced lineup.

Perhaps the most delightful surprise is the inclusion of Metal Gear: Ghost Babel. Originally released as “Metal Gear Solid” for the Game Boy Color, this 2D title is widely regarded as an exceptional translation of the series’ stealth mechanics, offering a deep and surprisingly sophisticated experience for handheld hardware.
