American actor James Ransone, best known for his standout performances as Eddie Kaspbrak in the horror hit ‘It Chapter Two’ and the volatile Ziggy Sobotka in the seminal series ‘The Wire,’ has passed away at the age of 46. The actor was discovered deceased at his residence in Los Angeles.
Born in Baltimore to a Vietnam War veteran, Ransone briefly pursued a path as a rock guitarist before honing his craft at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. He first garnered significant attention in the film industry for his role in Larry Clark’s provocative drama ‘Ken Park.’
